our story
noctis: nok-tis [adjective]
Latin for 'of the night'
I'm Anjani - a pharmacist, ex-healthcare marketing director, and certified sleep consultant. For years, I knew exactly how important sleep was, and sacrificed it anyway.
Work hard, stay late, keep up socially, repeat. I wore my exhaustion like everyone else did - as proof I was serious, proof I was climbing. Until I started listening to sleep scientists and realised the price I was actually paying. Sleep isn't rest. It's the work your body does so everything else works - the highest return on investment you'll ever make.
And most of that work isn't decided at midnight. It's decided in the window before — the transition, the point where your day ends and your body needs to be told, clearly, that it's safe to switch off.
That's the gap I kept finding. Trackers that tell you how you slept. Mouth tape and eye masks that treat the symptoms once you're already under. Candles and linen that sell the aesthetic of rest. Nothing built for the bit in between - the moment you actually decide the day is over.
We all have the good intentions. Then we get distracted, and the evening slips away anyway. What cuts through that is something familiar - like white noise for a baby, but for your body's sense of smell. A scent, worn close enough to the skin that it becomes a signal your brain learns to recognise: now is the time.
So I built noctis. Every set is bamboo viscose, with Lavandula angustifolia microencapsulated into every fibre - not sprayed on, not gone by morning. That scent is the signal. It releases gradually through the night, every time you move, so it keeps working long after you've fallen asleep.
Some evenings will get away from you anyway - that's fine. But when it works, choosing rest stops feeling like something to force. It starts feeling like something to look forward to. Because when you sleep the night, you seize the day.
noctis exists to change how seriously we take sleepwear. Rooted in sleep science, designed with intention - for people who know that how you end your day shapes how you live the next one.
